As a community-owned cooperative whose mission includes educating our owners and friends about natural foods and the cooperative difference, Deep Roots is a frequent participant in outreach-oriented events throughout Greensboro and the surrounding area.
Some of these events occur off-site at various health fairs sponsored by companies and like-minded organizations around the city, at street festivals and expos, and on school and college campuses. Many others take place in the store itself. These include everything from free tastings several times a month of favorite foods selected by us, or provided by visiting representatives from our vendors; guest lectures featured at our regularly scheduled Tuesday Talks; and our large annual outdoor extravaganza, Taste Fair (now in its 13th year).
